LifeLock, a venture-backed provider of identity theft prevention services, reported Tuesday that it has hired Robert Krakauer as chief financial officer. The firm described Krakauer as a financial leadership veteran with more than 20 years of relevant experience. Most recently, LifeLock said, Krakauer was president and CFO for MagnaChip Semiconductor of Seoul, South Korea. He also served as executive vice president of corporate operations and chief financial officer for Fremont, Calif.-based Chippac Inc. LifeLock added that Krakauer has also held executive finance and business development leadership roles for AlliedSignal. LifeLock is a privately held company backed by Bessemer Venture Partners, Goldman Sachs and Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers.
