Tempe, Arizona-based LifeLock said today that it has raised $6M in a first round of venture investment. The funding came from Bessemer Venture Partners. LifeLock said the funding will be used to extend consumer awareness of the firm's identity theft prevention solutions. LifeLock provides a service the monitors credit bureaus for fraud activity.
