Salt Lake City-based Sparxent, a provider of IT consulting and business services, said today that the firm has acquired Arbyte Group, an IT service provider based in Moscow; in a related move, the firm said that Arbyte has acquired RIkkon, another Moscow-based IT management consulting firm. Financial terms of the acquisitions were not disclosed. Sparxent said that the buy would broaden its eastern European footprint. Sparxent is an an acquisition roll, having recently acquired Colorado open source software provider XAware, and a number of other IT related firms last year. Sparxent is funded by vSpring Capital.
