Insight Enterprises, which sells IT hardware, software and services to the enterprise market, said late Thursday that it has cut 270 employees, or 8 percent of its workforce. According to Insight, the move was made to reduce its expense structure, in light of continued deterioration in technology demand in Q1. The new cuts follow a November 2008 layoff of approximately 240 employees, plus other expense cuts.
