American Fork, Utah-based Move Networks is trumpeting the firm's wins this morning, even as the firm comes off a big layoff at the firm earlier this month. Move said today that it powered seven of the ten most viewed broadcast TV network programs online in December, plus 600 live events. The move comes shortly after the revelation that the firm laid off 30 percent of its workforce on Friday the 13th. The firm said in a statement that it made those cuts to strengthen its balance sheet. Exact number of employees affected by the move were not announced. Move Networks said the cuts were made due to the "tough economic times" and in order to "get to profitability more quickly."
