Tendril is unveiling a new residential energy management application today at the DEMO conference in California, showing its Tendril Vantage Mobile app, which helps consumers track their energy usage from their cell phone. According to Tendril, the new mobile web application works with the firm's platform to allow consumers to see information about cost of energy, their consumption, and changes in energy pricing. Tendril said the app provides information about monthly billing, detailed hourly and daily data and averages on their energy, text messaging alerts, usage graphs, and more. Tendril is venture backed by RRE Ventures, Vista Ventures, Access Venture Partners and Appian Ventures.
