Denver, Colorado-based Tendril has released new building automation software, saying that its Tendril Bridge for Building Automation will control, supervise, alarm, schedule, and manage ZigBee and other low-power wireless networks. Tendril, a VC-backed startup that is developing wireless senor and control network software, said that the new platform uses Tridium's NiagaraAX framework. Tendril is demonstrating its product at the Niagara Summit this week, interoperating with Echelon and Invensys controllers. Tendril is backed by Access Ventures, Appian Ventures, and In-Q-Tel.
