Omniture Releases Android Support
Orem, Utah-based Omniture has extended its support tools for the firm's Omniture SiteCatalyst web analytics software, saying Monday that it has released a new mobile application for new Google Android cell phones. Google Android is the open source, mobile cell phone operating system being developed by Google for the mobile phone industry. According to Omniture, the new application allows users to access Omniture SiteCatalyst reports and information via phone. The Google Android support follows an iPhone version of the software released last month, and a mobile version released in July. Omniture's software is used by marketers to analyze and monitor web site traffic and marketing efforts.
