Bozeman, Montana-based RightNow Technologies said Monday that it has entered into a new alliance with SFA Strategies, a provider of solutions, sales process consulting, and sales automation to maintain Salesnet, a sales force automation product acquired several years ago by RightNow. Financial details of the alliance were not disclosed. According to RightNow, SFA Strategies will maintain and enhance Salesnet's Sales Force Automation (SFA) product. RightNow purchased Salesnet in 2006, to incorporate its technology into its saoftware as a service. The firm said it believes that Salesnet is best suited for organizations that manage complex business-to-business sales processes, while its products are a better fit for customer-centric organizations. Because of the deal, RightNow said Salesnet will continue to be offered as a separate offering with development, sales, and service through SFA Strategies.
