Lindon, Utah-based Footnote.com, an online archive of historical documents, said Thursday that it has expanded the firm's available records by adding files from the Civil War. According to Footnote.com, it has released digitized versions of the Civil War Windows' Pension Files. The documents came from the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). The site, which targets genealogy and family history buffs, said the information was previously only available via the National Archives in Washington, DC.
