Socialthing Being Acquired By AOL
Boulder-based Socialthing, which develops a social networking management service, is in the process of being acquired by AOL. Details of the acquisition have not been announced. Socialthing is a participant in the TechStars incubator program, and is venture funded with backing from eonBusiness. Socialthing\'s service allows users to keep up with friends on multiple social networking Web sites. Matt Galligan, Founder and CEO of Socialthing, told techrockies.com that he could not confirm the deal, and said that it was company policy not to comment on rumors; technology blog TechCrunch claims the deal has closed.
