Boulder, Colorado-based Socialthing Inc., operator of a yet-to-be-launched social-networking-management Web service, has concluded its initial round of venture financing, one of its investors, eonBusiness, reported Tuesday. The Denver-based venture capital firm declined to disclose a specific dollar amount, only noting that it was the lead investor for the Series A round. Slated to launch later this year, socialthing! allows users to employ a single interface to keep up with friends and contacts on multiple social-networking Web sites, such as MySpace or Facebook. Socialthing Inc. is one of the participants in the TechStars incubator program, which helps promising technology-based startups in becoming viable business ventures.
