Alpha Bay Buys Software Firm
Salt Lake City, Utah-based Alpha Bay Corporation, a developer of software for retailers, said Thursday that it has completed its acquisition of Avorcor, a Virginia-based firm which develops service oriented architecture (SOA) software for the supply chain process. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Alpha Bay said it acquired Avorcor's technology to integrate it into its suite of software, and in particular to add warehouse management and procurement into its products.
