Business and consumer applications publisher Avanquest Software revealed Wednesday that it will license its System Suite Essentials PC optimization software to Synacor, which offers technology platforms and content services to broadband service providers. The financial impact of the customer win was not disclosed. According to Avanquest, its System Suite Essentials utility enables PC users to improve operating system performance and troubleshoot hardware problems. The application is compatible with Windows Vista, Windows XP and Windows 2000, Avanquest added. Founded in 1984 and based in France, Avanquest maintains a U.S. headquarters in Westminster, Colo.
