Avanquest Gets Win at Rogers Wireless
Denver, Colorado-based Avanquest Software, a provider of PC software, said Monday that its "Intelligent Connection Manager" software has been selected by Canadian data communications provider Rogers Wireless. Rogers has deployed the firm's software as part of its wireless e-mail and Internet access solutions. Avanquest said its software allows Rogers users to access the Internet using HSPDA, EDGE, GPRS, WiFi and other wireless and wired connections. Avanquest provides utility and communications software to OEMs. Size and terms of the deal were not disclosed.
