Denver-based MapQuest, a provider of mapping and direction services, has chosen to pull real-time traffic information from INRIX across its service portfolio, INRIX revealed Wednesday. The Kirkland, Wash.-based traffic data specialist said its real-time information will be available to MapQuest.com, MapQuest Wireless and MapQuest Platform Services users as part of a collaborative agreement. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. INRIX added that MapQuest has already integrated INRIX's real-time traffic flow and incident data into MapQuest.com, a popular online source for maps and directions.
