Provo, Utah-based ACULIS Inc. unveiled a new open-source functional test automation tool yesterday for Web applications at the StarEast Software Testing Conference in Orlando, Fla. The firm said the new open source project, called Apodora, boasts features such as increased test coverage, an automation object repository, automated testing and enhanced extensibility. The tool is targeted at developers who need to develop software test scripts for functional test, which is used by software developers to ensure that software behaves properly. Headquartered in Provo, Utah, ACULIS provides software development, software quality assurance and testing, globalization and IT staffing services.
