ACULIS Acquires Indian Development Studio
Salt Lake City-based outsourced software development agency ACULIS announced Thursday that it has acquired an offshore facility in Chennai, India. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. According to James Stone, ACULIS' chief executive officer, the offshore site will do business as ACULIS India Private Ltd. and will work hand-in-hand with the Salt Lake City, Utah-based firm's stateside team. ACULIS noted that the 4,000-square-foot facility has been in operation for four years and boasts a team of experienced, senior-level programmers. Ganesh Prabhu, an IT Factory and Cognizant veteran, will direct the studio as managing director.
