Networking hardware manufacturer STORServer has debuted a product that protects vulnerable VMware environments, the company reported Monday. According to STORServer, the new appliance, called the STORServer VCB, houses in one box all the hardware and software that VMware administrators need in order to have centralized backup, disaster-recovery and archiving capabilities. The company added that pricing for its VCB appliance will start at $20,000. Formed in 1995, STORServer has headquarters in Colorado Springs, Colo., and the Netherlands.
