Salt Lake City, Utah-based Control4 has named a new COO. The firm announced this morning that it has appointed Rhonda Bassett-Spiers as Chief Operating Officer for the firm, where she will be responsible for all production, procurement, and service operations. Bassett-Spiers joins from BEA Systems, where she was Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President. She has also served at Agilent Technologies, where she was Vice President of Global Supply Chain operations, and Hewlett Packard. Control4 is a manufacturer of home control and entertainment systems, and is backed by Foundation Capital, Thomas Weisel Partners, vSpring, and others.
