Salt Lake City-based "smart home" products maker
Control4 said this morning that it has named JD Ellis as its General Counsel. Ellis has been at Control4 since August of 2009, and was most recently Assistant General Counsel at the company. Ellis previously served at Ivanti (formerly LANDesk Software), right before that firm's acquisition by Emerson Electric. Control4 makes a wide range of smart home products, allowing users to control their lights, appliances, home audio, and other electronics, all from their smartphone, tablet, and other interfaces.
