Boise, Idaho-based Micron Technology is showing a new line of image sensors targeted at the consumer and commercial security camera markets this week at International Security Conference (ISC) West in Las Vegas. Micron said today that its line of CMOS-based sensors are targeted at low noise, faster frame rates, and small form factor designs. Among the company's image sensors are both low-light, near-IR and visibule sub-lux sensors, and sensors specifically designed for the consumer market to output to NTSC or PAL formats. Micron is a manufacturer of DRAM, NAND flash, image sensors, and other semiconductors.
