Global Healthcare Exchange Buys Contract Management Software Firm
Westminster, Colorado-based Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX) has acquired a provider of rebate and contract management software. GHX said today that it has acquired Ideal Systems, a Pennsylvania-based firm that developers rebate and contract management software to branded pharmaceutical manufacturers. Terms were not disclosed. Ideal Systems' software is used by pharmaceutical manufacturers to manage rebates to HMOs and pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs). Global Healthcare Exchange is an operator of a electronic trading exchange for the healthcare supply industry.
