Linux Networx Enhances Supercomputer Line
Salt Lake City, Utah-based Linux Networx has announced a new line of supercomputer solutions. The firm said yetserday that its new LS series of Linux Supersystems adds new, integrated storage to its systems. The firm said that its new products integrate the GPFS file system, along with storage tuned to a user's requirements. The Linux GPFS file system allows multiple nodes in a Linux cluster to access the same, shared storage, and is used for file sharing and parallel processing. Linux Networx is a provider of Linux-based, supercomputing clusters used by the high performance computing (HPC) market.
