Ping Identity Rolls Out Single-Sign On Software
Denver, Colorado-based Ping Identity has rolled out a new, WS-Trust Security Token Server for the web services market. Ping Identiy said today that its PingTrust software adds security features for Serviec-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Web Services through providing security tokens for SOAP messages. The company is targeting enterprises implementing SOAP, the XML-based language for transaction processing. Ping said that its software supports both .NET and Java applications, along with Web-based and rich clients. Ping is a venture-backed startup that has received funding from Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Fidelity Ventures, and General Catalyst Partners.
