CA To OEM Ping Software
Denver, Colorado-based Ping Identity said today that it is in a strategic OEM partnership with CA Inc. Ping has licensed its PingFederate technolgoy to CA, as part of CA's eTrust SiteMinder product. Ping's technology provides federated identity management, used to create single-sign on of applications within an enterprise and between partners. Ping's PingFederate tools supports SAML and WS-Federation single-sign on protocols, used by Web Services and other related software development. Other terms of the deal were not disclosed.
