Theradoc Cites Patient Safety Study
Salt Lake City Utah-based Theradoc this morning is touting a recent one-year study that used the company's clinical decision support software. The company said that a one-year study completed at the Franciscan Health System in Tacoma Washington shows that use of the company's software decreases adverse drug events and healthcare costs. The company said that the study showed a six month cost savings from interventions, a prevention of adverse drug events, and an increase in intervention by pharmacists. TheraDoc provides clinical decision support software that helps physicians and pharmacists to issue appropriate prescriptions.
