TheraDoc Sold To Premier For $117M
Salt Lake City-based TheraDoc, which develops clinical surveillance tools for the healthcare industry, has been sold--again--this time, to Premier, Inc.. The deal was worth $117M in cash. TheraDoc was previously owned by Hospira, which had acquired TheraDoc back in 2009. TheraDoc's clinical information systems are used to monitor patient safety data.
