Evans and Sutherland Gets Simulator Upgrade Contract
Salt Lake City Utah-based Evans and Sutherland said Tuesday that it has been awarded a new contract by BAE Systems to upgrade visual cueing systems on two full-flight simulators for BAE. The company said that it would upgrade the simulators to allow for much larger geographic area, adding more airfields and training areas. Evans and Sutherland is a developer of hardware an software used for flight simulation and training. The company's systems are used by military and commercial flight simulation. BAE Systems is a defense contractor serving the US military.
