Lendio Buys Billy

Lehi, Utah-based Lendio, which operates a marketplace for small business loans, has made an acquisition, the company said on Tuesday. The company--part of the growing Silicon Slopes technology community in Utah--said that it will use the acquisition to launch Sunrise, a Lendio company, which will offer up freemium bookkeeping software for solopreneurs and small business owners, offering up management of accounting, cash flow management, loan, and credit information. Financial details of the acquisition of Billy were not announced. Lendio is led by founder and CEo Brock Blake. According to Lendio, Sunrise aims to give business owners more accurate, real-time insight into their business finances.
