Techstars Launches New Healthcare Accelerator In Minneapolis

Boulder, Colorado-based startup accelerator operator Techstars is further expanding its accelerator empire, saying on Friday that it has launched a new program, the UnitedHealthcare Accelerator Powered by Techstars. The new accelerator focuses on payment technology related startups in the healthcare industry, including startups focused on digital health and wellness technology. The startup accelerator operator said applications for the new accelerator open February 18th, and are due by May 12th; the program runs from September 9th through December 5th, the "Demo Day" for the accelerator.
