Offerpad Expands Efforts In Texas, Launches In Houston
Phoenix, Arizona-based real estate startup Offerpad, which lets home sellers enter their address and says it will provide an offer on their home within 24 hours, says it is expanding again in Texas, and has opened up its services in Houston. Offerpad launched its services in Dallas-Fort Worth in November. The company said it has opened up offices in The Woodlands, Texas, as part of its expansion in the state, and will also be expanding into San Antonio later this quarter. Offerpad's service lets home buyers submit their properties for an offer, requesting specific repairs to a home, and charging a fee for that sale; the company says the advantage of its service is that there's no need to show the home to strangers, no worries about the cost of owning two homes, ability to pick your own closing date, and other advantages.
