Versum Materials Names HR VP

Tempe, Arizona-based semiconductor materials supplier Versum Materials said Monday morning that it has named Meili Chen as the company's new Vice President, Human Resources. Chen was most reently Global Head of Human Resources at FMC’s Agricultural Solutions business, and also has served at GE, Cigna, Rohm and Haas, Dow, Valspar, and Danaher. Versum said that Chen is originally from Taiwan, and has experience in both Asia and the United States--a role which will specifically help Versum in its efforts in Asia. Versum has 14 major facilities in Asia and North America, and 2,200 employees; the company had $1.1 billion in revenues last year.
