CoorsTek Opens New Specialty Materials Center

Golden, Colorado-based ceramics manufacturer CoorsTek revealed Friday that it has opened a new specialty materials center. The center develops next-generation ceramic components for high-technology applications, including semiconductor, electronics, laser and advanced armor, CoorsTek said. The company added that the multi-million dollar facility contains state-of-the-art processing, manufacturing, finishing and materials analysis equipment, plus a large technical staff with research and development capabilities. Headquartered in Golden, Colo., CoorsTek also has facilities in Europe and Asia.
