Inimmune Finds $500K In Funding
Missoula, Montana-based Inimmune Corporation, a biotech company which is working on treatments for seasonal allergies (allergic rhinitis), said this week that it has raised $592,624 via a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant. The grant came from the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). According to the company, the SBIR Phase 1 grant will go towards developing new immunotherapeutics for the treatment of upper respiratory tract infections. Jay Evans is co-founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer, of Inimmune; the company's lead researcher on the SBIR contract is Dr. Juhienah Khalaf.
