Solix Biofuels Raises $500K
Fort Collins-based Solix Biofuels, which is developing algae-based biofuels reactor technology, has raised $500K in convertible note funding, according to a regulatory filing from the firm this week. No details on the funding have been announced by the company. The filing indicates the funding is part of a $1.0M fundraising effort and came from one investor. Solix Biofuels has previously raised funding from firms such as Bohemian Investments, I2BF Venture Capital, Infield Capital, Shanghai Alliance Investment Ltd., Southern Ute Alternative Energy and Valero Energy Corp.
