SendGrid Names New Chief Marketing Officer

Denver-based SendGrid, which provides the back-end email services to many high profile Internet and mobile services firms, has named Carrie Palin as the company's Chief Marketing Officer, the company said on Wednesday. Palin was most recently Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Box. She also was previously the Vice President of Marketing for IBM's Cloud Data Services and Analytics Software Division, and had served as an executive at Dell, where she had been for 15 years. Palin also serves on the executive advisory board for Marketo.
