SendGrid Names Product, Marketing Execs

Boulder-based email services provider SendGrid said today that it has named two new executives. According to SendGrid, it has named Steve Sloan as the company's Chief Product Officer and Scott Heimes as its Chief marketing Officer. Sloan joans from Marketo, and also worked at Amazon.com. Heimes was most recently at Digital River, and previously served at WebMD Health Services, OptumHealth, Target Corporation and Target.com. SendGrid provides email services, helping app and software developers, along with others, better delivery transactional emails to their users; the company's email services are used by Airbnb, Uber, Pandora, Hubspot, and many others.
