Techstars Boots Up Third Accelerator In Denver

Boulder-based Techstars is tripling down on accelerators in the Denver area, saying this week that it has launched a brand new accelerator--the Western Union Accelerator Powered By Techstars--to focus on the fintech sector, payments, and global money transfer. According to Techstars, the entrepreneurs in the program are expected to be involved in such areas as machine learning and artificial intelligence, crypto and blockchain technologies, analytics and omni-channel platforms. The other two accelerators in the Denver area run by Techstars are the great-grandaddy of all Techstars programs, the Techstars Boulder Accelerator, and also the Techstars Sustainability Accelerator in Partnership with The Nature Conservancy.
