ColdQuanta Collects $6.75M

Boulder-based ColdQuanta, a startup developing instruments and systems specifically for cold atom experimentation, quantum simulation, quantum information processing, atomic clocks and inertial sensing, has raised $6.75M in a funding round, the company said on Wednesday. The funding was led by Maverick Ventures, and also included Global Frontier Investments. Global Frontier's Grant Dollens and Maverick's Matthew Kinsella both join the company's board. The round is the first outside investment in ColdQuanta since it was founded in 2007.
