Maxar Technologies Names CFO

Westminster, Colorado-based Maxar Technologies--the developer of commercial satellites, earth observation sensors, space robotics, and other related products which recently moved its headquarters to Colorado--said Thursday that it has named Biggs Porter as the company's new Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Porter was most recently EVP and CFO for engineering and construction giant Fluor Corporation. He also served as CFO of Tenet Healthcare, along with positions at Raytheon, Northrop Grumman, and Arthur Young and Co. Maxar--until recently known as MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd.--moved its headquarters to Westminster back in February. Maxar is now also the parent company of Westminster satellite imaging firm DigitalGlobe, which merged with MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. in 2017.
