DigitalGlobe Rolls Out New Product, EarthWatch

Westminster, Colorado-based a href="http://www.digitalglobe.com">DigitalGlobe, which develops satellite imaging products, said on Monday that it has launched a new product called EarthWatch. DigitalGlobe said its cloud-based, subscription product provides access to fresh satellite images from DigitalGlobe's satellite constellation, "curated" basemaps, and other information. Pricing on the new produt was not announced. DigitalGlobe says it images more than three million square kilometers of the Earth, daily, in the highest resolution available today from commercial satellite, 30 to 50cm.
