DigitalGlobe Rolls Out New Satellite Monitoring Service

Westminster, Colorado-based DigitalGlobe, which provides satellite imagery to its customers, said today that it has launched a new service, called SecureWatch Sites, which provides current satellite images of high-interest, global locations on a regular basis from multiple commercial providers. The company said the new service--available through the web--is aimed at helping defense and intelligence customers access to changing daily conditions over certain areas. Pricing on the new service was not announced.
