IC Interconnect Acquired By Semtech

Colorado Springs-based IC Interconnect (ICI) has been acquired by analog and mixed signal semiconductor maker Semtech, the two announced this week. According to Semtech, it has acquired substantially all of the assets of ICI, which is a provider of contract wafer bumping and other related services for the semiconductor industry. Semtech said it would pay approximately $7M in cash plus assumed certain obligations for IC Interconnect. IC Interconnect is based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where Semtech said it expects to add 42 employees. IC Interconnect (ICI) was founded in 1998.
