Carlisle Companies Acquires Star Aviation

Scottsdale, Arizona-based Carlisle Companies said this week that it has acquired Star Aviation, a provider of design and engineering services, testing and certification work for the aviation market. Financial details of the acquisition were not announced. Stra Aviation has manufacturing facilities in Mobile, Alabama and a technical services facility in Lynnwood, Washington, and has annual sales of approximately $30M, with 150 employees, according to Carlisle Companies. Star Aviation becomes part of Carlisle Interconnect Technologies.
