Foundry Group Open Sources Sexual Harassment Policy
Boulder-based venture capital investor Foundry Group, in its bid to help improve the condition of women in the technology workforce and at startups, said on Monday that it has released the text of its sexual harassment policy to the public, for use by other venture investors and startups. Foundry Group said it has made that policy "open source", so that others can download and modify it for their own purposes. The policy includes addressing the issue of "non-disparagement" clauses in legal agreements, which have come under fire for hiding sexual harassment claims at companies, with Foundry co-founder Brad Feld saying that the firm has come to the conclusion that those clauses should be excluded from agreements.
