Amkor Expands Board

Tempe, Arizona-based Amkor, which provides outsourced semiconductor packaging and test services, said Friday that it has named Doug Alexander and MaryFrances McCourt to its board. Alexander was previously President of Actua Corporation, and also had served as CEO of WiseWire Technologies (acquired by Lycos); ICG Europe, Traffic.com (Acquired by Navteq), and Channel Intelligence (acquired by Google). He also has serv ed on the boards of GovDelivery, Procurian, and Bolt. McCourt was previously Vice President for Finance and Treasurer at the University of Pennsylvania.
