Avnet Names New CFO

Phoenix-based Avnet said late last week that it has named Tom Liguori as the company's new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Liguori was most recently at Advanced Energy Industires in Fort Collins, Colorado, where he had been CFO for the past two years. Avnet said Liguori starts on January 29th. Liguori replaces Ken Jacobson, who had been serving as interim CFO since August; Jacobson is also Avent's controller, and will continue to be part of the staff after the shift. Avnet is a major distributor of electronics and computer products, supply chain services, and other associated services.
