Zayo Expands In Minneapolis

Boulder-based Zayo Group has expanded its footprint in Minneapolis, the company announced this morning, as a result of work with four major wireless carriers in that market. According to Zayo, it now has more than 8,000 route miles across the state, and more than 5,000 metropolitan route miles, in an expansion which has been partially driven by Super Bowl 52. Zayo also said the growth comes as a result of a need to support future 5G deployment in the Minneapolis metro area. Zayo did not say how much it is investing in the expansion.
