Ampt Get $15M More For Solar Power Conversion
Fort Collins-based Ampt, a developer of solar power conversion technology used to optimize the output of solar panels, has raised $15M more in funding, the company said Monday. Ampt said it has now raised $50M in total. The funding was led by Bohemian Investments, as well as a personal investment from the company's founder, Doug Schatz. Ampt develops DC string optimizers are DC/DC converters which help optimize the output of strings of solar panels. The company said the funds will go to expand its product portfolio, and accelerate its sales and partnerships in Europe, Japan, and North America. More information »
